Finally done!

The flat is finally ready to put on the market.  It took a lot of woman hours to get it looking like this!

It was grubby and mouldy and now it looks good.

I just need someone to buy it soon 🤞

    1. It's a great wee flat in an area full of students. The estate agent thinks someone will buy it for their kids starting uni (we're a university city) as it would be cheaper than paying hall fees over the 4 years of their course. It's walkable/cyclable or a short bus ride to the uni and is right in the city centre near the train station xxx

  6. I'm sure it will sell quickly as you've made it look so welcoming! We bought a 2 bed townhome when my daughter started college as she needed to be able to cook gf meals (halls weren't providing special diets back then). It worked out well, and the rent from the sharing student paid most of the mortgage.

    1. I bought the flat 4 years ago so my son wouldn't have to worry about a landlord putting up his rent or evicting him if he couldn't pay. And it's worked well until the cost of living went up. The mortgage payment went up. The energy prices went up. And so on. If it sells quickly I won't lose any money and might make a teeny profit to put into my retirement savings.
