I popped down to the allotment early this morning to do some more tidying up. The weeds are just awful!! I'm waiting for an update from the vet hospital so needed a distraction.
Luna's scan yesterday didn't show up anything to be concerned about which was a huge relief! I'm hoping she'll get home today but I need to wait for the vet dealing with her case to call me. He said he'd call either before his rounds at 9.45am (he didn't) or after them. I'm still waiting!!!!
Edited to add: I'm picking her up at 2pm!! 😁
Thank you for the update on Luna - she's been in my thoughts. Hopefully, it was a run of bad luck and she can start getting better. I've everything crossed for her.
ReplyDeleteThanks!! :-)
DeleteLove your calendula bed :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm planning to add cornflowers to it and hope everything keeps self seeding :-)
DeleteOh thank goodness for that.
ReplyDeleteYou can get on top of the allotment over the next few weeks as things start to die down. The first job I would do as the lazy gardener that I am, is to mow the paths, cover them with cardboard and then some membrane and top off with some chippings. It worked really well for us in Wales and any weeds that do land in the chippings are easily pulled out. It's just one less thing to worry about.
Good news about Luna. xx
I am so happy to have her back! The vets really scared me with some of the things they were saying. I'm actually quite annoyed with them as the tests they did came back with false positives!! I'll get on top of the allotment before the Winter season, I'll just take my time :-)
DeleteGreat news about Luna! Catriona
ReplyDeleteThanks! :-)
Deletei hope Luna is feeling better xx
ReplyDeleteShe's definitely a lot better :-)
DeleteI was scared to look at your blog in case there was bad news!! So glad the pup is coming home to you and hopefully will be on the mend too. Fingers crossed this is the beginning of healthy puppy time! x
ReplyDeleteI do hope this is the beginning of her good health! :-)
DeleteGlad you have Luna back home, hope she continues to improve health wise. We have an allotment plot, they are constant work at this time of the year and there's always little pests wanting to share what's growing!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I hope we've finally cracked her infection. On my plot it's a constant battle against the pigeons and rabbits!! I just need to net everything single thing from now on :-)
DeleteGreat news Ali
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'm so relieved :-)
