Less of me!

When I went back to work after the holidays I resolved to get my weight back down to a sensible level.  As I'm getting older it's getting harder to stay at a constant weight.  And a whole summer of little exercise thanks to my ankle injury and cider drinking in Cornwall meant it crept up again 😔

But as of yesterday I've now lost 3.2kg/7lbs!!! 🙌🙌🙌

I'm using WeightWatchers, exercising more and not eating after 7pm at night.  Seems to be working so far but it is very hard.  My first target is to lose 10kg by Christmas so I'm a third of the way there already 😎

  1. Fabulous! Having had a sedentary Summer myself, it is definitely an area I need to tackle. Unfortunately my resolve is pretty weak. X

  4. Well done on your weight loss. It's good when you can do it with an informal group. Think every school has a fat club-and then someone brings in cakes. I followed Michael Moseley last year and did the sugar free diet. 20 kgs down, hair cut short and a we tattoo-not too shabby for a 67 year old who's growing old disgracefully. Seriously though, I knew I had reached the obese category and I feel so much better and fitter now. Catriona

    1. Oh well done on the 20kg loss!!! I'm in the overweight category and it's suggested I should lose 15kg to be in the mid range of healthy for my age and height.

Today at school it was someone's birthday and there was lots of fresh fruit as well as cakes. The grapes were nice but I was good and resisted the GF cake!!

  5. Well done. Hubby and I keep saying we must lose weight then I go shopping and they have peanuts and chocolate buttons on special offer!! I can do really well until 4pm then I munch for Britain for about an hour all the while telling myself I'll regret it when my buttons won't fasten :( It's really hard but its worth the effort once you get into the right mood. Well done you, hopefully I'll get motivated to do better soon! x

    1. Agree you've got to be in the mood. And find the tricks that work for you. I write everything down. I plan out my meals and snacks for the whole week on a Sunday. That works for me as I love a good written plan!

  7. I lost over 2st last year, bringing me into a healthy weight of 11st7lbs. Unfortunately since last June to now I've regained it all!! So hard to lose - so bloomin' easy to regain. At present we're on holiday in Cornwall and as the weather's been shocking, it's mainly been a food-fest!! Determined to get back on it next week.
