How I spent my summer

  1. Lots of work in your garden plot. Hope you have good results. You sound just like my sister-in-law. She lives in Greenock!

    1. I grew up about an hour away from Greenock!

I'm looking enviously at the 'real' plots and all their good results. One day that will be me :-)

  2. Very impressive Ali. You've really put your skates on and done some amazing work. I hereby award you an elephant stamp.

    1. Thanks! I've had some help to get me started but hopefully all the big stuff is done for this year :-)

  3. It's looking good, lots of hard work. My potatoes have done brilliantly this year - thats a first for me! My sweetcorn is mostly going into the compost bin, I doubt there's enough 'summer' left now to ripen any of it. It's been a lovely few days though so hopefully you've enjoyed it all outdoors. Nice to see you back. x

    1. I just love being there. It really is peaceful and calming. I've not had it long enough to produce anything so I'm jealous of your potatoes! The lovely weather has been a bonus this weekend. Makes all the difference :-) xxx
