Storm Ciara

Hmm, I don't think my polytunnel will survive Storm Ciara.  The metal supports are broken and the cover is torn.  The weather is truly appalling.  Stay safe and warm wherever you are today xxx

  1. Oh, dear. That doesn't sounds at all good. Hopefully, it is repairable.

  2. What a shame, but I hope that is the worst thing to come out of the storm. Pretty calm here although we are still under a couple of feet of snow.

    1. Lots of flooding round here although my street isn't affected. My school has a leaky flat roof so a couple of upstairs classrooms had flood damage. And some downstairs ones have leaky windows so lots of water damage there too.

  3. Oh, dear! I hope things quiet down soon. So much rain and wind - I'm not sure which is worse.

We received 6 inches of lovely, fluffy snow today - perfect for skiing and sledding; easy shoveling. I'm feeling rather lucky with it all. (We're in MN in the US - this is a normal amount of snow for this time of year.)

    Hope your week is uneventful,
    Lea
