Living well on less in early retirement
Obviously a lot of hard work has gone into your little square of heaven. Hope you have a good harvest!
I dug up some potatoes yesterday. They were delicious!! :-) xxx
It looks great. Weeds are what they are and we never get rid of them completely, do we?xx
It just needs a day or two of pulling them out. At the moment I'm managing an hour here and there and it's not enough. The awful weather makes it tricky. As soon as school is back on 10th Aug I bet the weather will be perfect!!! :-) xxx
Hasn't our weather been horrendous! It's been quite cold too which hasn't helped. My potatoes did ok and the peas, beans and lettuce have done well, the courgettes are a dismal failure and I'm not sure my corn will get enough sun and heat now to ripen properly unless we get fabulous weather from now on! It doesn't seem likely does it! Your patch is very productive, looks aren't everything lol. Enjoy! x
My plan was to spend this morning on the plot but the rain is chucking it down!!! *sighs* :-) xxx
I hope your plot isn't flooded given the amount of rain we've had the past couple of days, and its on here again today. :( x
I popped down this morning and it's a wee bit soggy!!! xxx
I have been wondering how I would be feeling if I wasn't retired but had to return to the classroom today. Blogland is very odd as I think I know you but of course I don't really! Nonetheless I am sending positive vibes across the border and wishing you good health and energy in the weeks to come. Vicki
Thanks! We've had 2 days without kids but they're ALL back tomorrow. It's a bit of an anxious time trying make everything 'safe'
I love getting comments but I will delete any spam and rude personal comments without hesitation. Thanks
