I put up some wallpaper last night to make a feature wall in the kitchen. It comes ready pasted so all you have to do is dip the paper in water (I did it in the bath) and put it up. Let's just say I'll not be using ready pasted wallpaper ever again!!
I got it HERE last year and it's been sitting waiting for me to get round to it! I love it but some might find it a bit too much!!!! 😂😂😂
I love it, it's fun and very striking x

I thought it was fun too! :-)
DeleteIt's very eye-catching, and just on that small wall is just about enough. I have used dip and hang wallpaper in the past and I found it very slimy to handle. I actually prefer the 'paste the wall not the paper' type of wallpaper the best.
ReplyDeleteHaving a feature wall is a good idea when you're trying to sell your house as it makes your house stay in people's minds if they have been round viewing a few on the same day.
Yes! It was slimy and slippery. I love paste the wall types, so easy to put up. It's only 3 and a bit strips but it has impact in a small kitchen with a North facing window :-)
DeleteJust my kind if thing! It’s such an eyecatcher and even if people whi buy the house don’t like it, it will not be hard to remove. Catriona
ReplyDeleteIt's supposed to be peelable so it can removed easily. Really the wall underneath needs to be professionally replastered as the previous owner blocked off a doorway (not very well!!) and the wall is very erm, 'bumpy.' LOL! But the wallpaper hides a multitude of sins! :-)
DeleteFun wallpaper and it makes a great feature wall. We pretty much only have pre-pasted wallpaper (that I know of) here in Saskatchewan.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Thanks. It's the first time I've used it but really didn't like it at all. Too slippery to hold! :-)
DeleteI love it. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThanks, me too :-)
